Upgrade V.3.0.2 for Janus V2
Instruction to upgrade firmware (upgrade firmware)
1. Format SD card memory fully.
2. Create “update” folder (it must be small case letter) in SD card and copy new firmware (fw update v.3.0.2) into SD card.
3. After copying the firmware, insert SD card into Janus unit and boot up(in the vehicle) it will automatically upgrade JANUS.
4. After boot up, Janus will be automatically updated. While it’s updating, GPS and REC LED will be blinking. (about a minute) “DO NOT” interrupt the power while it’s updating.
5. After updated, Janus will reboot automatically. Beep sound with 3 LED light up.
6. All finish the updated JANUS will be working automatically. Don’t need to power up again.
Picture frame is 30 frames per sec. Compare with old version picture frame is 25 per sec. it’s more high quality pictures frame by frame. Also new version of GPS unite has been improved.
Once again, Please don’t forget the new version will not open the old data files. So please keep old version of viewer software to see old data.
