Thanks!! Note of interest: I have punched a hole in a thin piece of foam /felt using a standard paper hole punch and then using double sided sticky paper with a hole punched through that as well, stuck it over the camera mic which improves the recorded sound ten-fold. Should perhaps be an option? Regards Peter Knott All done and dusted – camera recording and software perfect. Thanks!!

It is very simple to correct the issue. After completing the system configuration save it into SD card not to your computer folder. After installing the SD card into the camera and record the data you could see that the time on the file is set per your local time zone. Be advised that when ever you open the set up file it will show as London time but don't worry about it. As long as you save the set up into your SD card than you are fine. Please tell me how I can change this. Maybe I did make an initial mistake when setting up originally - is there any way I can clear the unit contents and start again Regards P Knott This equipment is superb and does all the advertisment says and better – but even though I followed the instructions to the letter I cannot alter the time zone to GMT London time – the recording insists on showing +8 hrs GMT.
